Review of the Pump Forum 2023
Two days full of knowledge transfer and networking
Back in Niederfüllbach, Sebastian Stich and Günther Drews report on their impressions of this year’s PROCESS Pump Forum in Würzburg. The programme was extremely varied and covered a wide range of topics. From the latest technological developments to best practices.
I was very pleased that our presentation “Efficient mechanical seal monitoring: practical solutions for reliable production” was very well received and also led to a more intensive exchange with the other speakers and participants.
There were several contributions that took a closer look at the hot topic of condition monitoring. These included, for example, Jan Köser on “IIOT around the smart pump of tomorrow”.
For us, this means that we were in exactly the right place with our topics and our technology. The event was not only informative, but also an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas with other experts and expand our network.
“I found the opportunities for dialogue during the breaks and networking events particularly successful. It was great to meet professionals from different fields, share ideas and discuss potential collaborations. Such opportunities are priceless and contribute significantly to expanding one’s own knowledge and strengthening professional relationships,” reports Günther Drews. His personal highlights included the presentations by Stefan Leuchtenberger, Henning Hörbelt, Peter Fischer and Holger Döbert.
“We learnt a lot of new things about current developments in the field of industrial pumps and processes. We were particularly impressed by the increasing importance of condition monitoring. We also made many new contacts and discussed interesting opportunities for co-operation. We are convinced that we will benefit from these insights and experiences in our company,” says Drews.
A big thank you to the organisers (especially Dr Jörg Kempf and Alexandra Birn, among others) for their excellent work!
The event was not only educational, but also inspiring. The good time organisation with a balanced mix of presentations and breaks enabled a very good transfer of knowledge among the participants.
We are already looking forward to future events and to continuing to benefit from this great forum.
