The BestSens L8 rod sensors are used to monitor the operating condition and wear on bearings and machines. Two identical L8 sensors are connected by cable to the transmitting and receiving path of the BeMoS one controller to form a measuring point.
Thanks to quick-locking push-pull connectors, connecting the sensors to machines is simple. BestSens L8 sensors are available in different lengths and protection classes. This means we can always offer you the right sensor solution for your individual application.
SAW technology combined with temperature measurement: The L8 sensor is our robust multi-sensor and reaches almost every bearing in machines thanks to its rod-shaped design.
The sensors are mounted radially on the bearing. For this purpose, the bearing bracket must be provided with two through holes that have a G ¼ thread in the upper area. The sensors are flexibly and
easily attached to the bearing outer ring by means of compression fittings. The length of the rod sensors used depends on the wall thickness of the machine housing.
The sensors compensate for minor material expansions due to the silicone embedding at the front end and adapt to different bearing outer radii.
The sensors maintain optimum contact with the bearing outer ring, even if temperature fluctuations of the machine lead to different expansion of the rolling bearing outer ring and housing.
The L8 multisensor is available in different lengths in its design. Individual adaptations of the length are also possible by arrangement.
Available lengths: 60 mm – 350 mm
All sensor lengths are also available in ATEX-certified versions.
